Kissing in the Rain: Ginnie part 3

Gwendolyn
Part 3

2 weeks later...

Dr. Phan stood at her large picturesque window as Ginnie sat taking notes. Moments later Dr Phan went to sit behind her desk. She picked up the phone and called the receptionist's desk. "Please have Jonathan come to my office. " She said before hanging up.

A soft knock came a few moments later as Ginnie gathered her purse and briefcase.  She was just standing as he entered the office.

"Come on in Jonathan.  This is Gwendolyn Parkes, she will be joining our team. She will be working with your team as a liason for us non tech people while her primary function  will be working with our patients as they come into the facility as an intake specialist.  Can you please show her around the facility?"

"Sure boss! Anything to get out of real work!" He said jokingly "Right this way Miss ..."
"Parkes" Ginnie answered "Gwendolyn Parkes" she extended her hand. He shook her hand firmly.
" Jonathan Ross, IT manager " He said smiling wide as he watched her stand exposing two dimples in his cheeks.
Ginnie smiled back feeling extra cute in her new tailored white blouse, bronze fitted skirt, wide gold belt and tawny leather peep toe pumps.

Jonathan Ross had a slight geeky build and a tumble of brown curly hair with a boyish look to him. He was a guy who loved his technology and gadgets, he explained as they walked down the hall. He was dressed simply in a periwinkle button down shirt and khakis. He helped design the IT infrastructure for the facility and managed a small team. The first stop was their little  group internet-based hub. It was impressive with the latest equipment.  He introduced the team and informed her that he would personally set up her office desktop this week.

The next stop was the security section where they monitored all of the rooms and offices, and issued badges for visitors and employees. Guss, head of security, was busy doing reports and hanging up the phone when Jonathan tapped lightly on the window to his office.  Guss looked up and waived them in as he hit the buzzer.
"New girl" Jonathan said "Gwendolyn Parkes meet Guss Rhyder" as she entered behind him.
"Hi there!" Ginnie  said waving to him.
"Welcome  Miss Parkes, just got off the phone with Jessica, Dr. Phan's receptionist.  Glad to have you with us. This is a  great place to work. If you could fill out this paperwork, I will start the process for your badges and submit your security clearance for approval.  He handed her a clip board of forms and pointed to a chair for her to sit down. She could see a wall full of monitors ran along one side of his office.

The phone on his desk rang. "This is Guss.  Yes,  room 4A and cottage 3. Do you need audio on both? Yes? Ok. Got it. " He hung up the phone and swerved in his chair to stand and walk to an almost hidden door to his left.  He punched in a code and the door opened "Bring up room 4A and cottage 3. They want the full package." He said to whomever was in there before shutting the door again.

"Guss, I'm finished." Ginnie said, standing to hand him back the clipboard.
"Thank you.  Do you go by Gwen or something like that?" He asked as he collected the clipboard and flipped through it.

"Um..my friends call me Ginnie or Ginger..."Ginnie started
"Because of your hair" both Guss and Jonathan said at the same time. Looking at the large, tight cinnamon brownish bun she had her hair pulled back in. They took in her exotic look, her tanned skin with a smattering of freckles  and slanted brown eyes with long lashes. Her full naturally pinkish lips and high cheekbones.  They assumed she probably did some modeling. And knew they would enjoy seeing her around the place.  Guss wondered if her carpet matched the drapes.
There was an uneasy silence and then a bit of nervous laughter.
"Yes because of my hair color" she said breaking the silence and laughed a little along with them.
"Ok,  Ginger it is! Your badge will have your formal name but we can use Ginger on the rest of your id's if you like. "

"No... that's ok. Please use Gwendolyn. I think its more professional for the clients, but you both can call me Ginger or Ginnie,  I will answer to both." She said looking back and forth between the two as she returned to her seat and crossed her long legs. Both men followed the motion like cats following toys. Ginnie pretended not notice. 10 minutes later her badge was complete and hanging around her neck on a lanyard.

After visiting the security office, she followed Jonathan to the lobby and then down the hall to see where the clients were taken for the procedures. He led her into a small viewing room. Here she was able to view an egg retrieval procedure being performed.  The hopeful couple sat beside the bed holding the young woman's hand as she slept.  The couple's eyes were full of all the emotions they were feeling, fear, joy, hope, love. Ginnie so wanted to be a part of it all. Tears filled her eyes as she looked on.

Jonathan watched Ginnie. He decided he liked it too, better than Ginger. Ginger reminded him of Gilligan's Island and the sexy actress. If he was going to be working with her he would need to get over her extremely attractive body and focus on her personality and brains. Dr. Phan was adamant about her no fraternizing rule. All the single guys at the facility were going gaga over her. He was ashamed that he was thinking about her when he was with his on again, off again, girlfriend Bridget. Right now they were on. Bridget was sexy but she did not hold a candle to Ginnie.  He was moved seeing the tears in her eyes and decided a walk by the lake would do her some good.

After the procedure ended Jonathan announced that they were taking a detour. He led Ginnie outside by the beautiful lake she had seen from Dr. Phan's office. It was absolutely gorgeous. Jonathan led her to a bench and they sat quietly for a few moments not speaking.

"I come here on my breaks when the weather is nice. It's a great spot to eat lunch." Jonathan said "The clients like it too. They can talk in a relaxing setting with the donor if they choose that program, celebrate if everything goes well or just come let off steam if it is unsuccessful.  This poor lake takes it all in and still remains beautiful and peaceful day after day."

"You speak of it as if it is a living breathing thing." Ginnie said.

"That's because it is!" He said, "or at least that is what people say.  It's like a mother who knows just how to sit and listen."

"Interesting!" Ginnie thought.

Jonathan's phone rang. "Yep, on my way. " He said into the phone  standing up.
Ginnie stood as well.
"No, just hang out here for a bit. One of the doctors locked herself out of her account. She does it every month when it's time to update her password. Honestly,  If I didn't know any better, I'd swear she does it on purpose.  I will be back shortly." He walked away quickly.

Ginnie watched him retreat for a while. He was nice, she thought. She closed her eyes briefly and rested her head on her arm draped over the back of the bench. The air was sweet with the scent of flowers and the rippling sounds from the lake soothed her with its gentle lullaby. Feeling herself drift off, she willed herself to lift her head and not be caught napping on her first day.

Ginnie turned back around and let out a small yelp. Her hand fluttering to cover her chest. Directly in front of her was a well dressed gentleman with piercing violet eyes. His hair was ebony with just a hint of grey on his temples. He was well dressed in his expensive slate blue suit, his eyes captivating.

"I apologize for scaring you. I was wondering if that seat was taken." He asked with a beautifully flowing accent. Was he Italian? Ginnie could not make her mouth work so she shook her head no. He briefly smiled before sitting down, his smile not reaching his eyes. He was gorgeous with a chiseled jaw and an aura of power exuding from him. His suit was immaculately tailored.  Dior cologne wafted on the air around him. He had towered above her. She felt flushed.  She never responded like that to anyone,  especially males.  She was not impressed with most guys after working in the strip club and seeing their true nature. For some reason, though, he was somehow different.

She couldn't help but stare at him.  Pull  yourself together and look away. She scolded herself. He looked out at the lake, lost in thought. Ginnie was finally able to tear her gaze away from the man who strongly resembled a Greek god. She could not help herself and kept looking at him surreptitiously through her long eyelashes.

"I cannot believe it didn't work." He said mostly to himself looking out toward the lake. A tear rolled down his cheek and he angrily wiped it away. He clenched and un-clenched his fist on his leg.

Ginnie squirmed uncomfortably on the bench next to him.
"I'm sorry" Ginnie  finally responded thinking he was addressing her.

He turned his head sharply at her voice. Ginnie gasped. He stared at her for a  few uncomfortable seconds before speaking. Ginnie felt as if he were looking through her.
"I have  not seen you here before. Are you new?" He asked with just  a bit of gruff in his accented tongue.

"Yes. My first day." Ginnie answered softly.

"I am  used to this bench being empty and I  did not mean for you to think I was speaking to you." He said.  Looking away from her not waiting for a response, he reached in his pocket and pulled out a pink ribbon. He rubbed it silently between his fingers for a few minutes before kissing it and returning it to his pocket.

"We're you hoping for a girl? I couldn't help but notice the ribbon... " Ginnie stopped speaking as he once again pinned her with his powerful gaze. Violet eyes boring into her. Not speaking.

"You know what? I  can go. It seems like you need some privacy. " Ginnie leaned forward and gathered her purse and briefcase. Not exactly knowing where she was supposed to be and all of the other benches around the lake were occupied.

"Stay." Ginnie froze at the simple command. She turned her head to regard him. He had tears in his violet eyes.  "I know you don't know me, but if you could... just sit with me... for a while..." he paused. "Your presence is oddly comforting."

"Sure. I  wasn't going anywhere right now anyways. I'm Gwendolyn Parkes" Ginnie said sitting back on the bench and crossing her legs. His violet eyes looked at her name badge on her chest and traveled down the length of her legs.
"Simon" was all he said in response.

Even in his grief, Simon did not miss the sexy movement.  He hung his head and waited while the sadness washed over him. His body tensed. He felt her hand lightly touch his back, trembling, unsure.  His once rigid posture slightly slumped. His tears came then. He cried silently. Never making a sound, as the trail of tears ran down his face. Ginnie remained silently by his side, rubbing his back. She imagined capturing his tears one by one on her fingertips and sucking the salty liquid off of them.

A few moments later Jonathan was headed back to retrieve Ginnie from the bench when he noticed she was not alone.  He stopped short in his tracks not sure if he was seeing things correctly.  Was that the Simon Gerou? The owner of the Gerou Diamond Gallery? Jonathan knew that they had some big name clients but had never figured Mr. Gerou would be one of them. His wife Natalia was a goddess and former model. Why was he on the bench with Ginnie and why was she rubbing his back?

He was just about to head over to them when his phone vibrated a text message. Looking down he read- come to my office please-Dr. Phan

He turned back towards the building and was in Dr. Phan's office shortly.
From Dr. Phan's office they could see Ginnie interact with Simon.

"He is one of our clients and the first IVF  failed. He is not taking the news well. I  suggested he sit by the lake for a while. I  had no idea that Ginnie would be there. Let's just give them a few minutes. I was going to have her meet with another couple this afternoon... But it looks like things have a way of working out. "

Dr.Phan answered Jonathan's unasked question. "For the record they are not here. I expect full discretion." She said turning to look at Jonathan.

He nodded and sat down in the chair he was standing next to. His skin prickled slightly as he watched Ginnie comfort Mr. Gerou.  He knew this was ridiculous but the feelings were there nonetheless. He was in a relationship and Simon was married. There was a pretty good chance that he was overreacting.  She probably wasn't attracted to either of them and he assumed she was probably seeing someone anyways.

Ginnie continued to rub Simon's back and tell him it would be ok. He shared with her how much he loved his wife and wanted nothing more than to have a family with her. He did not want her to know how much this was hurting him. Luckily she was sedated at the moment. She had miscarried. He had come outside to get some fresh air.  There was a rumor that the lake knew what people wanted and granted wishes if you believed. He knew it sounded crazy but he was desperate to try anything at this point. He silently wished for a child of his own. Someone to pass his legacy on to. After he finished speaking, Ginnie touched his arm lightly.

"Mr. Simon, are you going to be ok?" Ginnie asked.

He startled her when he chuckled, " Simon is my first name."
He shook his head yes and wiped the tears from his eyes

"Thank you Miss Parkes for your kindness and compassion.  I'd like for you to meet my wife Natalia soon.  I  think she would like you." He stood abruptly straightened his suit and excused himself as he strode quickly back towards the building.

Ginnie sat on the bench wondering what had become of Jonathan for a little while as her eyes settled on the beauty of the lake. Making up her mind, she got up and walked over to the very edge of the lake.

"I am not sure how this works" Ginnie  said to the waters edge " if you can grant his wish for a little girl,  I would be grateful."

Turning away from the lake feeling silly, Ginnie hoped no one heard or saw what she did. Stopping briefly to gather her things, she walked back towards the cool interior of the building. Jonathan met her in front of Dr. Phan's office.  He apologized for leaving her alone for so long.

Ginnie smiled and was just about to respond when his name was called over the intercom.
"Duty calls" He said looking up towards the intercom speaker in the hallway ceiling. He turned and walked away.

Ginnie entered Dr. Phan's office closing the door behind her. Dr. Phan was busy speaking to someone on the phone but smiled and nodded to Ginnie as she entered and took a seat.

Dr. Phan  hung up the phone and peered at Ginnie across her desk.
"Miss Parkes, I  see you met Mr. Gerou"

"Who?" Ginnie asked perplexed.

"Simon Gerou,  of Gerou Diamond Gallery,  today on the bench. He is one of our high profile clients and I must insist that you not speak to anyone outside of the facility about him being here. Discretion is paramount. I assume he told you that the procedure failed. He took it hard. Actually harder than she did. She is resting overnight and they will be discharged in the morning.  Part of your day to day will be comforting our patients.  You will help to alleviate their fears during intake and help them through the process of grieving when the procedures fail. You got a crash course today, I  would say."Dr. Phan said before dismissing her for the day.

Later that night,
Ginnie dreamed of Simon and Natalia. They were by the lake at the institute. They were lying in the grass nude, in an intimate embrace. He rocked and swirled his hips as he made passionate love to his wife. She arched her back and cried out in ecstasy as his lips possessed hers and moved to her taut nipples. Natalia called his name as he surged forward over and over bringing them closer to release. Ginnie watched them together, her center clenching in need. Wanting to join them.  Their moans of passion floating on the night air. They were such a beautiful sight.  Together, Simon and Natalia looked up as Ginnie watched. Their bodies coming together in passionate kissing and touching. After satisfying his wife and bringing her to multiple climaxes Simon was ready to spill his seed.  They reached out to her inviting her to join them. "Join Us!" She was then naked in the moonlight with them. Ginnie laid next to Natalia. Natalia  and Simon covered her body in kisses and tenderly stroked her from head to toe  building flames of desire. They simultaneously licked and sucked her breasts and the folds of her heated center until she was writhing in spasms of pleasure, crying out as she was overcome in orgasmic bliss. Simon entered her swiftly in one powerful thrust, stretching her roughly as he jerked hard and cried out. His climax exploded inside her. Filling her with his hot seed. Afterward, both Simon and Natalia were on their knees in front of her, kissing her stomach and smiling. They both put their hands on her stomach which was now slightly round. The happiness in Simon's eyes was the last thing she remembered seeing.

Ginnie woke up in a cold sweat. The bed sheets clinging to her skin.  Why was she having this dream. She had only met Simon once and never even seen his wife. At least not that she could remember. She did not want to physically have a baby. That is why the egg donation program seemed to be such a great option.  When she was ready for motherhood she had planned on using a surrogate.

Subconsciously, did she want to give them this gift? Or was she just attracted to Simon and her hormones in overdrive? She wondered.  Well whatever it was, she had signed a contract saying that she could not donate her eggs for one year. What else could she possibly do to give them the gift of a child. She had asked the lake, as ridiculous as that felt. She would find them the perfect donor. It would be her secret mission.

At work her day dragged as she continued her training and learned more about the day to day operations. Her mind kept flitting back to pieces of her dream.
In the dream, she was having sex with them. She knew that was unprofessional. Out of the question. But it was so sexy, so very intimate,  so hot with both of them, that she had woken up with evidence of her arousal on her thighs. Ginnie would have to be creative and  extra careful around Simon and his wife.

To be continued....
