My books are available on more sites

Image
It's been a while since I put up a blog and for that I truly apologize.  Life likes to throw curve balls at me. The latest is having to go back into the workforce full-time.  Something I thought I would not have to do. This has put a damper on my writing and practically shut down my wedding business.  But I persist. My published books are now also available on Barnes and Noble, Goodreads, and Rakuten Kobo; in (addition to Kindle an KU.). You can also purchase my books by using the links on my website. Paperback is not available yet, but perhaps in 2023 when more stories are available and you can buy the majority of the series, I will see where sales are. Beef Witch You  More stories are coming from Forestdale. Kissing in the Rain  I have 2 more stories in the works for my Forestdale series with possibilities for more. I have started working on a new series that I have teased on IG and Twitter which will be at least 3 - 4 books in the series.  Ginnie T...

The eighth month

Image
So August is upon us. I set some lofty goals for the month. I posted this on some of my social media sites.  Here are my writing goals for the month of August: I have completed half of Chapter 6 of my ongoing story Beef Witch You  and hope to be ready to start Chapter 7 midweek while I finish up and edit Chapter 6. That is how I have been able to post between 3500  to 3700 word chapters weekly. Beef Witch You will be a novella. Eventually I  will write a novella for each sector of Forestdale.  They will be free and published on Wattpad and Inkitt. I think it's a good way to practice and improve my writing while slowly building an audience.  I invested a little into some marketing efforts to drive readers to my books on Wattpad. The effect over all,  has been minimal at best. I have gained some very loyal followers of the story which makes me happy.  I have also tried jumping on some writerslift or writerlifts on Twitter but again, it's slow...

KITR: Oil and Roses

Image
Oil and Roses  (first draft sample) Why was she here? Sienna wondered silently for the fiftieth time this evening. Because the sex that would surely happen was great. It was better than great. It was fucking amazing. But the dude at the end of that amazing piece of flesh...not so much. Oh, don't get me wrong,  he is something sexy to look at and even drool over. So why was she here? In this shifty neighborhood in the middle of the night dressed in a seemingly simple dress and his favorite bra and panties? Because no one else knew her flesh, like him. Most guys damn neared nutted just being close to me. She pretty hot truth be told. Together, they make a stunning couple. But beyond that...nothing. After a very short time, however, that new relationship smell and the veil of giddiness lifted and they saw each other for who they were. Not compatible in the daylight hours. They tried to fight the inevitable, make it work. But they are not a couple. They are high octane sex....

Writing Prompt: beef with your witch neighbor

Image
Writing prompt: by the. write.talk  Short story When A Witch Crosses the Line It took over four years to perfect the three wish spell mushrooms. They were my biggest seller, and this year's crop was delivering huge red-hued portobello-shaped beauties. The profits allowed me to buy this sizeable secluded piece of land and build the home of my dreams, a nice earth-friendly space that honored nature and ingenuity.  When you can give people things they want in a consumable form, people keep coming back for more. Compelling people. This hidden haven in the forest was the perfect way to escape those that would seek to take advantage of my product or enslave me.  The witch, Beatriz, lived in the forest on the west side of my property. She seemed like a wonderful neighbor and friend. She was never interested in my gardening. That is, not until a few months ago. She casually picked and ate one of my mushrooms a few months back before I could stop her. She came to visit whil...

The story behind Mending Fences

Image
THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY MENDING FENCES At the time I wrote mending fences, I had been reading a lot of steamy stories.  A. LOT. After doing some housework, when my mind always wanders, I asked my husband to give me names for 3 characters, two males and 1 female. I know. You are probably looking at the way I inconsistently wrote the numbers. I will do that from time to time. Sorry, not sorry. Grammarly will fix it later. Anyways, the idea was this. I had three names. I wanted something with a double meaning, and I wanted to try my hand at writing 2 distinct male voices. For a first effort, I think I did ok. the story as it appears here is the original rough AF first draft. A slightly better version was put on Literotica, and omg, I got 29k views and over 4 stars rating. I was happy with that. I mean, wow, it was my first completed short story tested on an actual site. I was a little bit proud. I am not gonna lie. I put it on NSFWstories.com, and it was well-received too. I...

The Ties that Bind part 8

Image
The Ties that Bind - part 8 (first draft) (A visual inspired short story in honor of #NationalBowTie Day) In the bathroom, he turned on the water, and steam quickly filled the enclosure. He made sure to adjust the water stream to two. "You can control the water temperature by voice. Just say hotter or colder. It adjusts in 5-degree increments." Noel informed me as he moved to the sink and looked at his jaw, contemplating shaving.  I noticed he also looked at his neck and rubbed his hand over the area where I bit him. A small twinge of guilt assailed me. I excused myself to use the toilet, which thankfully had a door. The weight of what I needed to do was heavy. I was not sure I could go through with it. I usually never questioned the agency. But this. This didn't seem logical. I looked out of the bathroom window and saw the stars twinkling above the city. Would this be my daylight now?  Would I be able to even go out in the sun anymore? What about chocolate. Please tell...
