They were my biggest seller, and this year's crop was delivering huge red-hued portobello-shaped beauties. The profits allowed me to buy this sizeable secluded piece of land and build the home of my dreams, a nice earth-friendly space that honored nature and ingenuity.  When you can give people things they want in a consumable form, people keep coming back for more. Compelling people.   This short story was something fun I decided to try while watching the series on Netflix. This story originally was written directly on my IG page that is why the length is limited but it was also an exercise in trying to tell a complete story in a limited amount of words. I added just a few more words since I have the space on the blog. Don't be surprised if you see more of these pop up from time to time on this blog. This was my ode to daylight savings time which the spring forward one always messes me up for about a week. The first day is the worst. I hope you enjoy the story.
